About Me

Shannon-I first fell in love with the idea of becoming a permanent make-up artist when I had my eyebrows microbladed. I loved how I felt after my procedure and how happy I was with my new beautiful brows. I still remember looking in the mirror when the procedure was completed and could not believe that I would no longer have to spend time doing my eyebrows every morning. I knew at that moment that I wanted to help others feel the same way. I wanted to help others feel more beautiful and confident while allowing them to save time on their daily beauty routine.

Contraindications

Please email me at info@foreverbeautybyshannon.com to discuss your health conditions or medications in detail to determine if you are a good candidate for PMU. Not everyone is a good candidate. Below are some contraindications that may make you ineligible for PMU or at least require an additional discussion to make that determination. Please review these carefully.

Minors under 18 years old are not permitted to have a tattoo unless under the order of a physician
Diabetes if not well controlled
Pregnant or lactating women
Currently taking blood thinning medications (if you are taking Coumadin, Heparin or other blood thinning medications, you must have written permission from your physician before receiving PMU services)
Currently on cortisone, steroids, Accutane, Retin-A or Renova. Must have been off of these medications for 12 months or more before having PMU.
Have skin disease/condition such as : Psoriasis, eczema, undiagnosed rash or blisters
Allergic to makeup or susceptible to hyper-pigmentation
History of Herpes Simplex or cold sores (if wanting a lip procedure, you must be prescribed an anti-viral medication from you physician to take before and after the procedure. Please email me to discuss before scheduling.
High blood pressure (uncontrolled) and some heart conditions
Blood disorders such as hemophilia, sickle cell anemia and platelet/clotting disorders
Keloids or hypertrophic scarring
Severe acne on or around the area to be treated
Chemotherapy/Radiation therapy. Please wait at least 6 months after your last treatment
Cannot perform eyeliner procedures if you have a stye, red eye or eye disease. Also, must not wear contact lenses during eyeliner procedure or during the immediate days following
